Your carry-on baggage
Each passenger may take 1 handbag and 1 other item of hand baggage with them completely free of charge. Remember that only if you have priority boarding you can take your cabin bag (50 x 40 x 20 cm) on board. Otherwise, you must check it free of charge.
10kg MAX. = Cabin bag + small handbag
Ensure that your handbag and hand baggage combined do not exceed 10kg in weight. If they do, you will have to pay a surcharge of €60 per item per journey.
Your checked baggage
You can check in up to 5 pieces of baggage up to a maximum of 50kg per passenger. At any time, up to 2.5 hours before departure, you can add more baggage to your booking. Remember that the price of checked baggage varies according to the country of origin, destination and season; and that it is cheaper to add it before arriving at the airport.
Add baggage up to 20kg or 25kg per suitcase or piece of luggage
Up to 32kg at a price of €12 per excess kilogram.
Add baggage up to 2 and a half hours before your flight
You can do this during the booking process, the check-in process or when managing your booking at volotea.com, the Volotea mobile app, or directly at the airport.
Your arrival at the airport
Check-in opens 2 hours before your flight departs and closes 35 minutes before departure time.
